By creating an account, buying a plan or one-off article, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Rankwrite for a company, you confirm that you can bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Rankwrite produces content for businesses: strategy, briefs, research, drafts, independent editing, images, on-page SEO and publishing to a connected CMS. Some of the work is done by AI sessions. A separate AI editor scores each article against our public rubric, and a human owner supervises the service. Read the AI disclosure for the detail.
We do not provide legal, medical, financial or investment advice. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue, a particular search result or that a third-party platform will accept or index a post. Search results and CMS behaviour are controlled by third parties.
2. Accounts and access
You must be authorised to connect the site, CMS and any other account you give us access to. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for the users you invite, for reviewing drafts before publishing, and for complying with your CMS’s terms.
3. Plans, credits and billing
Prices are in US dollars and are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from the portal or the Stripe billing portal before the next renewal date; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Pilot and single-article purchases are one-time credits, and the delivery window is the one described at purchase.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card details. Taxes are added where required. If a charge is duplicated, or taken after you cancelled, contact us and we will refund an eligible amount. Except where the law requires otherwise, other fees are non-refundable once the work has started.
We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice. A change does not affect a period you have already paid for.
4. Your content and ours
You keep ownership of the materials you give us. Once you have paid for an article, you own the article we produced for you. That does not include our pre-existing tools, templates, prompts, rubric, software or brand, which remain ours.
You grant us the licence we need to use your materials, site access and instructions to provide the service. We grant you a licence to use the delivered articles on your properties. We may use anonymised, aggregated information to improve the service; we do not publish your identity or your content without permission.
5. AI, review and responsibility
Output is AI-generated and can contain errors. We run independent AI editing and source checks, but you must review drafts before publishing and you remain responsible for factual claims, product statements, regulated claims and compliance with the law in your market. Do not rely on the output as professional advice.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Rankwrite to:
- publish illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harmful or spam content;
- make regulated claims you are not authorised to make;
- access a site or account you do not control, or attempt to break our security or rate limits;
- reverse engineer, resell or white-label the service except as your agency plan allows;
- infringe another person’s intellectual property or privacy.
We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach, non-payment, abuse or legal risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
7. Third-party services
The service depends on third parties such as your CMS, Stripe, Resend, Google, DataForSEO, AI model providers, Pexels and our hosting providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their part of the service. We are not responsible for their downtime, changes or decisions.
8. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that an article will rank, be indexed, attract traffic or produce revenue.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankwrite is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service in the three months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including fraud or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service for material breach, non-payment, abuse or legal risk. On termination we stop providing the service and handle your data as described in the privacy policy. Articles already published on your own CMS remain yours and remain your responsibility.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the new version here with a new date. If a change is material, we will give account holders reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rankwrite is established. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms: [email protected]. If you need a signed contract, a data processing agreement or agency terms, ask us and we will arrange it.
